President Mwinyi opens the eighth Nane Nane Agricultural Exhibitions in Zanzibar.

President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council Honorable Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi opened the NaneNane Farmers’ Exhibitions Zanzibar 2023, in the show-grounds of Kizimbani Dole West District “A” Unguja on 1st August 2023.

During the occasion, Hon. The President of Zanzibar and the Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, has also launched the Zanzibar Horticulture Development Strategy which will foster the horticulture development in the isles. The strategy is part of the results of the great contribution of the AGRI-CONNECT programme funded by the European Union in Zanzibar.

The AGRI-CONNECT program through its partners TRIAS, SOLIDARIDAD and PDF in Zanzibar is happy to participate in these exhibitions that will be held for 10 days from August 1 to 10th, 2023. AGRI-CONNECT is pleased to invite all stakeholders and the public in general to visit our booths to learn various methods of production, processing and marketing in the horticulture value chain.
